Summary :-
There was a sheperd named Santiago who lived in Andalucia Spain. He loved to travel and always use to take his sheeps with him and sold wool for money.
One day he decided to go to Tarifa to sell wool to a merchant. It became dark before he reachs the village so he keeps his sheeps in an empty church and sleep under the tree for a night. In his sleep he dreams that a small boy was playing with his sheeps and take him to pyramids in Egyptian dessert , where the boy tells him, here is your treasure, the movement he was about to tell the location Santiago wakes up. He becomes restless as this had been occured to him many times before.
Santiago wanted to know the truth so next day he realize that there was a woman in Tarifa who can solve his mystery.
The woman agrees to tell him the meaning of his dream but demands the one tenth of the treasure. Santiago agrees to give her so.
He starts his journey for the treasure. The people he meets along the way.The things he learns, are life changing.
